Following Kew’s botanical work on an expedition (organised by CNRS and the French Foreign Legion) along the French Guiana-Brazil border, this short film examines how modern techniques and equipment, coupled with old-fashioned exploration, can help fill voids in our knowledge of the Amazon flora. Shot on location in the Parc Amazonien de Guyane with the support and permission of the Park authorities.
